The Skirt.

If you missed my tweet yesterday, the skirt I've been dreaming about is finally up on Anthropologie's website. I promised on Tuesday I would post about it as soon as it was. I have a major crush on this skirt. Oh mommy?
I would amp up the embroidery on the skirt and pair it with this embellished flower blouse and tan woven sandals!

Everyday Essentials

I love getting dressed up and playing around with different outfits, but I always have my go-to when I  don't want to put much thought into what I'm wearing. Jeans, chucks and comfy t-shirt is on regular rotation in my span of outfits. Pearl studs and my leather strap watch are also part of my everyday ensemble.
Below are all my favorite go-to pieces. Good chance you can find me wearing at least one of them everyday. 4 out of 5 are on my body as we speak...
1. Basic white t-shirt. My favorite is from Old Navy, but I'm loving this pullover from Anthropologie.
3. Comfy Jeans. Mother brand jeans are high waisted, so soft and the perfect shade of blue.
5. Leather strap watch. After my 2 year hunt for a watch I finally discovered MirΓ³. The tan leather strap is exactly what I wanted and perfect for everyday.
Do you have a go-to outfit or those pieces you can't go a day without?

Wake Me Up

Wake up sleepyheads, it's time to start the day! Here I am again ranting about how much I love mornings. This post is partially because I couldn't think of anything to post and partially because when I turned to Pinterest for inspiration I found all of these morning themed images.

This morning I'm pretending like that's me in the picture. Sippin' on a cup of coffee, sitting in a cute apartment and the sun streaming in.

I wish I was sitting at this breakfast nook...

eating this parfait

or heck, I wish I was eating this sprinkle toast.

Wake up friends and have a great day!

I went to Anthropologie twice this weekend. The store is budding with all their new spring arrivals. From floral leggings to embroidered cover-ups, below I've put together all of my favorites minus one skirt that I couldn't find on their website. I've been thinking about it everyday since seeing it this weekend. I promise I'll share once it gets put online!

Bites of My Life

bites-41.jpg
This is the last week of February. I'm sorry what? Did I just blink and somehow it became the middle of the semester? Days are flying, but they have been filled with some really fun adventures. The winter Olympics are officially over and I now have spring fever. This week I am looking forward to the return of Scandal (squeal, I can't wait!), fun date parties this weekend and the Oscars Sunday night. Bye bye February, you've been fun.
-The greatest invention by moi! Take two Girl Scout Trefoils with some almond butter spread between the cookies to make the ultimate cookie sandwich.
-Another coffee date. My choice was toasted almond coffee with steamed milk and one pump of almond syrup.
-Trying on Ban.do products at work. I'm about to buy this Happy Birthday headband just so I have it waiting for my birthday in three months.
-Dinner at Taco Diner in Dallas Friday night. I had the fried avocado (YUM) and tilapia taco.
-Headed down to Dallas on Friday for SMU KKG initiation. It was an all Kappa everything couple of days and I loved it.
-Found some Kappa love at the Anthropologie in Highland Park Village.
-The only picture I got from the best three course brunch after initiation. We had a green salad with marcona almonds, pickled red onions and parmesan cheese shavings, followed by grilled salmon and a chocolate cup with pistachios and cherries.
-The cutest little set up for a photo shoot at my work Sunday night.
